Our theater group was organized in 2004 as a non profit organization. Our desire is to promote high quality theater arts, education and Nevada history to the Dayton Community. Our plays are often presented in a melodramatic and humorous fashion, a 'slice of life' with a not too obvious moral. We provide a theater experience to preformers ranging in ages frrom 10 to 65+. Our directors, actors and valuable crew are all volunteers from the Dayton area who work for the sheer joy of performing and our audiences' appreciation.
Auditions are open to all persons who are interested in performing. We ask everyone who participates in one of our productions to become a paid member of the Misfits Theater Group. The annual membership of $5 is due at the beginning of each calendar year.
It has been our pleasure to be able to give back to the community, On a number of occassions we have donated our profits to the Dayton Food Pantry, V&T Railroad and Meals on Wheels.

We travel. Our home is the Odeon Hall in Old Town Dayton but on occassion we have been known to perform in other locations. Among other places, we have been at the Dayton Valley Golf Club, Dayton Senior Center and even the Govenor's Mansion in Carson City.
